Cross Country (XC)

Cross Country is a no-cut sport. You do not need any experience to participate. We build personal goals, get some exercise, and have fun together.

Cross Country is open to 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students. There are four meets. All grades compete in the first three meets. 7th & 8th grade compete in the final Middle School Champs meet. The season schedule can be found on the Schedule page of this Google Site.

Maplewood Athletics relies on family volunteers for a successful season. Linked is a Google volunteer form that is required for each student althete that is participating in Cross Country. This form helps us to create carpools for our meets and coordinate volunteers to run the Cross Country meet that we host here at Maplewood. Please complete the Google volunteer form, even if your schedule does not allow you to volunteer at any of the meets or events.
